diydsp_lives The ending of menthol is one of the most gorgeous things ever btw! my word! Also, i'm about halfway through "The Garbage" and I'm really appreciating some of the interloping of traditional music concepts, the contrast is amazing, such as the handful of bars of breaks and the guitar-like outro vamping. that's what made my brain think of the difference between human walking for long stretches and how animals move. Favorite track: menthol.

about

This powerfully aromatic tangle of glorious sequenced racket has been fermenting in a darkened cylinder for over ten years. The result is a highly concentrated waxy crystalline substance that exudes penetrating vapors characteristic of our enduringly peculiar maximum strength formula.

Libythth uses this substance to treat common symptoms of electronic music, replacing its gridlocked beeps and thumps with a reckless blend of bashing, twanging, tootling, croaking and and chattering. We are known to apply generous globs of our noxious glowing gel to the faceholes of fashion conscious party victims, causing them to gurn and grimace and rip off their wristbands in perplexity.

the Garbage does not feel it is unclean and the Flower does not know it is fragrant will be the last Libythth album. Due to epidemic lack of demand for our line of smelly products and overall failure to provide culturally relevant entertainment, we no longer feel any inclination to continue releasing new music.

We will now hereby lovingly embalm all of our past efforts with ceremonial ointments and unguents and prepare a verbose crypt so that we may retire under a jumbled skeleton pile to await unlikely discovery by a future generation.

about

Libythth Los Angeles, California

Libythth was bornt in 1993 from a grim and frothy pool of unpleasant synth patches.

The profound impact Libythth had on electronic music is purely theoretical and the full prunt of its influence on countless nonexistent artists cannot be measured by any stick.

We occupy an inaccessible hidden level and you probably shouldn’t be here.

We are unbeknownstmost.

This page marks our grave.
